I had the pleasure of working on Battlefield 6 with some incredible people from DICE, Criterion, Ripple Effect, and MOTIVE.
I was the Lead VFX Artist for the Campaign, overseeing all VFX across the five missions owned by Criterion and DICE, while managing a team of six VFX artists across both studios.
I also managed and organized the work of external outsourcing teams, focusing primarily on in-game cinematic effects.
Alongside the leadership responsibilities, I remained hands-on throughout production, contributing directly to key set-piece moments, atmospheric and environmental effects, and helping push quality during final polish across multiple missions.
As the lead, I worked closely with Art Directors and teams across Lighting, Level Art, Cinematic, and Design to make sure the visual effects felt cohesive and supported both the look and the gameplay.
I’m incredibly proud of what we achieved, it was a massive team effort, and seeing how players experienced and appreciated the atmosphere and overall visual quality of the game has been really rewarding. The work also got us nominated at the Visual Effects Society Awards, which was a great moment for the team.
